The MakeAbility database is constructed and managed by REMAP (our sister charity operating in England, Wales and Northern Ireland), which allows us to use it freely and also to add details of Scottish cases.

 

It is primarily a source of information for REMAP and REMAP Scotland members and healthcare professionals, although it is accessible to the general public. REMAP hopes it may also be of use to other UK and overseas charities and interested parties.

Please remember that each device has been designed and made for an individual after evaluation of their specific disability and personal need - some may not be suited to universal use. It is your responsibility to use the information appropriately and seek advice from OTs and other professionals where necessary.
